Since its inception, DCL has grown significantly and expanded staff and operations in several countries, which has resulted in increasing complexity in the organization’s financial transactions and administration. This year, DCL has decided to get their own independent legal status in Uganda, and is now seeking a Business Development Executive to play a key role in helping us establish a strong foot print and presence.
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for technical sale and marketing that include but not limited to product trials, commercial trials with existing and prospective clients, Research on new suppliers for dairy/non-dairy ingredients and safety equipment, organizing for installation and commissioning of machines, Training customers and staff on new food safety technologies and organizing and managing the after-sale service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visiting potential and existing clients for product trials, courtesy calls and technical Support.
- Sourcing for new clients
- Responding to clients’ inquiries
- Staying updated with current market requirements and trends.
- Promoting the Company through attending events such as exhibitions, conferences and Seminars.
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in Food Science and Technology
- Three (3) years’ experience in technical sales
- Fluency in English
- Ability to handle confidential matters
